Pathway to economic strength for our Community and its people

The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community envisions a balanced approach to development that reflects the Community’s values of economic, social, and cultural sustainability. The development of an integrated and successful commercial corridor along the western boundary of the Community provides an on-going source of pride, inspiration, jobs and opportunities while reflecting the cultural values and integrity of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

Salt River Devco was established in February, 2000 to promote development within the Community, to enable a viable economy for the Community so that it survives and prospers independently, and to develop and manage commercial business assets for the Community. The vision carries through to today in part by pushing for economic diversification, a more self-reliant Community, and by fostering mutually positive relationships with outside business partners and surrounding municipalities.
