What is SR Devco?

It is a trade name for Salt River Community Property Development and Asset Management Company.

SR Devco is a for-profit enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

SR Devco is an unincorporated division of the Community.

What does SR Devco do?

Acts as a real estate developer.

Manages the Chaparral Business Center, which consists of six office buildings and one hotel, and a portfolio of twenty static billboards on the Community.

Provides general information to landowners in the 101 Corridor about commercial real estate development.

Are SR Devco’s services free to enrolled members?

SR Devco provides general information on this webpage at no cost.

SR Devco’s services as a developer are available on a fee for service basis.

Can SR Devco give me free referrals to real estate brokers or attorneys?

SR Devco can only provide you with a referral to the Arizona Department of Real Estate, the Arizona Association of Realtors, the State Bar of Arizona, and the Maricopa County Bar Association.

Can SR Devco lease and develop my land allotment?

SR Devco will receive and evaluate development opportunities as they arise but does not guaranty that it will select your site.

If I find a developer, will SR Devco represent me in ground lease negotiations?

SR Devco is a developer.  As a competing developer, SR Devco could not accept such an engagement to represent you; however, SR Devco can provide you with a referral.

Can SR Devco evaluate my development project for financial feasibility and legal soundness?

SR Devco is a developer.  As a competing developer, SR Devco could not accept such an engagement to advise you; however, SR Devco can provide you with a referral.

How is SR Devco different from the Community Development Department and/or the Economic Development Department?

SR Devco is a for-profit enterprise.

CDD is a non-profit department of the government.  It is responsible for economic development, membership and realty, environmental and natural resource protection, and planning.

EDD is a non-profit division within CDD.  It is responsible for economic development and specifically coordinating lease approvals and lease compliance.

If I have compliance issues with a current lease involving a developer other than SR Devco, who do I contact?

You should contact EDD at (480) 362-7600 and ask for compliance.

If I have a compliance issue with a current lease involving SR Devco, who do I contact?

You should contact SR Devco at (480) 850-5700 and ask for the Vice-President Real Estate.
